Hey guys looking for some advice on a new set of tires for my Rv. Have a 312bh outback. Looking at the Goodyear but wanted some real world opinions. Mine current tires are new however just want a heavier duty tire for peace of mind.
Dont have any experience with the goodyear. I have ran the Carlisle Radial Trail HD tires and they work well. I am putting another set on this week. As my previous set have met there age. They are China made however an American company.
I don't think you could go wrong with the Goodyear Endurance tires. At the time I needed tires for my trailer the Endurance wasn't available so I went with the house brand of ST tires from Discount Tire. It's the Hartland brand. I have almost 10k miles on those tires and they're doing very well.
I put Maxxis M8008 Load range E tires on my Trailer last year. These are highly rated on RV forums and have served me well. I purchased them on Amazon. Had them installed and balanced by a local tire shop @ 25 bucks per. Sold the Chinese take offs for 100 bucks...a wash. Goodyear endurance and Carlisle's are also well rated. I also added metal valve stems and installed TPMS sensors on each tire. Solar powered monitor sits on the dash board.
My camper came with Goodyear Marathons [chinese made] and when it was time to change I went with the Kenda Karriers e-rated up from the d-rated Marathons. That was 3 years ago and I'll have to admit they have been an excellent st tire. The Kendas were much heavier than the Goodyears. My thought at the time was Kenda is a world major player in ATV tires, bicycle tires just to name a few so I decided to give it a shot and have not been disappointed so far.

Did this three years ago and added the Wet Bolt kit, 5k springs and the Dexter EZ Flex system to the mix.
Found a very newly manufactured set of the Goodyear endurance at my local Goodyear store. Having them installed today and will report back and ride improvements
On my way home yesterday in the Country I saw a TT on the side of the road. I stopped to ask the guy if he needed help. Older gentleman blew his RR tire, the Castlerock China bomb shredded. It was date coded 14th week 2016. He did have someone on their way to bring him a wheel / tire, said he had been looking for tires and didn't have a spare. Travel trailer tires are something you do not put off buying, now he has to fix his underbody too.
