Hi All
I was just wondering if anyone has a drawing/pattern for the headliner of a 48-52 f-1.
My headliner is missing so I have nothing to work with. I can get a new headliner for $200 but with shipping & duty etc to the UK it ends up more like $400
If someone has the dimensions I am sure other people would like to have it to make custom headliners etc.
A good friend from this site and the MSN flattie site was kind enough to trace out his '52 F-1's headliner onto a pattern for me. There are differences from 48's (window) but it would work. I haven't gotten to the point of using it yet, but it's on my list for this summer. Once I've cut out a headliner and verified it, I intend to convert it to AutoCAD so it can be readily emailed and duplicated. I just won't have any time to get to it for a while. What's your schedule?
From what I've seen of it in a brief look, it's not going to be easy, and of course you'll need an industrial sewing machine. What to use for the backer board is another question.
