I have a really high pitched vacuum leak coming from the egr valve area. To confirm it was egr related, I pulled the codes and it stated "egr gasket leak". Has anyone had to deal with this, could it possibly be the valve itself causing that high pitched leak? I had a few other codes pulled, "dirty maf, exhaust leak, etc, etc.) Cleaned the maf and the idle is marginally better.
Anyone have any suggestions? Im thinking it could just be a bad egr valve gasket, or possibly pcv valve.
If the EGR valve has a plastic vacuum nipple, especially if it is a 90 degree angle version, it could have cracked. That could present a whistling leak.

Looked over the egr vacuum lines, thankfully nothing was wrong there. However I did discover that the vacuum hose coming off the throttle body had disintegrated. Thanks for your help man
