F350. Currently stranded in Clinton NJ. This is an emergency as he has all his belongings and is in the middle of a move. Is anyone available to call him to troubleshoot his issues? Driving on highway in the heat, shifting stopped working. Got some error code for fuel pump, which is replaced and still not working. PLEASE HELP!
Need more information...what year, make, and model truck are we working with? Also need to know which engine and transmission? Is he able to read codes?
So there were no actual codes coming out using the code reader, but on his dash it stated "low fuel pressure." After he did research on that, he replaced both fuel filters and the in-line low side fuel pump. It is still saying "Low Fuel Pressure" on the dash, no codes are coming up. The truck will start, but then shuts off and does not run.

2012 ford f350 with 6.7 powerstroke diesel
I mentioned this to a guy i know who worked for a California Ford dealer from 1985 until 2018, then opened his own shop. First thing he said was high pressure fuel pump...and yes, they can fail without setting a fault code.
I would want to know if the filters have been changed recently....in 11-16 models an improperly seated under chassis filter cover can cuase air to be sucked in and thus reducing fuel pressure.
