I have a 2017 F350 super duty and today my truck started doing this weird thing where it'll bounce up from normal I'll idle speed which is about 600 rpm to a 1000 rpm it will increase slowly and it will stay there until I tapp the the accelerator then it will go back down it normal idle speed I am sitting in the truck with the ac running and it's about 94 degrees outside does anybody have any experience with this problem is it normal if it's not how do I fix it
It needs to ramp up to keep the ac and cooling working. Same thing in the winter they will idle up because they are not making enough heat to be happy. Completely normal.
