Well, I hit 258 oil temp coming from silverthorne towards the Eisenhower tunnel and as I pulled over the water temp gauge came up to just under redline. EGT never went over 1200 and I had it in stock mode. I guess I have other parts in my future. I'm torn on doing the dieselsite kit like unleashd or ala carte cheaper individual components together.
Luckily it happened near the top, but eot was still 220 the whole way down 6% descent grades included.

Wow! I have a F550 with a Bully Dog, I never turn that thing pass the second notch because I can't stand to see EGTs over 1000. It's been many years since I pulled anything through the Eisenhower. Back in the 80's we towed an 8000lb Airstream with a f350. I could only go about 40mph in 3rd gear holding the rpm to 2700, unstoppable but slow. We went from there to Berthoud pass. That was fun.
