PO installed front disc and I do not know what year or model truck he used as the donor however I assume the components for the upgrade would be from a mid 70's to later model Ford truck. I am about to reassemble the front suspension on my 65 F100 CC but one of the springs is seriously pitted so I want to replace it but unfortunately I do not have any later model truck reference manuals. I ran a search, to include 'rear counter' but unsuccessful. I will search a couple of the online salvage part sources but I need to be able to provide the info for the replacement components. As best I can determine, the I-Beam casting # is C5TA 8-B and 9-B, and the radius arm casting # is C5TA-3A360-A, if the info can get me in the ball park of the year/model Ford truck I should be able to at least run a search in the various truck salvage yards for the items??
I looked at the Moog suspension website and they list the same front coil springs for 2WD F-100 to be the same from 1965 through 1979 depending on I-6 or V-8. I have replaced the front coils on both our 66s with Moog and they come paired with a mark saying one is LH specific and the other RH.

Thank you for the info.now it is a matter of deciding whether or not to replace both springs or just the 1, if I were not consider selling the truck it would not be an issue. Again I thank you for the source, intend placing the order in next couple of days.
I got both pairs through summit - they were cheaper than both the Moog site and the local auto parts stores. If I remember correctly it was less than $100 for the pair. I firmly believe springs should be replaced as a pair. They offer both static and variable load versions. I’m not sure exactly what that means.
I have beams, radius arms and brakes out of a 1975 F100 for my 66. The beams are marked D5TA-9-GA (left) and D5TA-8-GA (right).
Are your beams stock and the PO put discs on them, it's possible. Could be your springs are stock.

Gavin, appreciate the information and intend checking w/ sources U mentioned. Agree, replacing a single spring does not make sense. Check w/ Summit and they offer a set for $88 and it appears the items are correct for my application whether the I Beams are original or later model Ford truck, I placed the order.

Thank you for the information; regret I did not ask the PO a number of questions when I purchased the truck some 10 plus years ago so not sure what year or model the components came from. possibly stock?? I also removed the front suspension and brake components from a 75 Ford truck for my 65 with the 302 which have the same markings as those U posted. Decided to replace the springs and reassemble the beams that were on the truck and be done with it. Again I thank you!!
