hoping so but they way things are going it's sounding doubtful... wife has already said if it's still like now (masks in public and social distancing) she's not going... I really wanted to
bring the truck for the first time but we'll see... I'd bet even Dan doesn't know !!

So having to wear a mask will stop her from going out ? That's fantastic now if you could just convince all the other stupid people to follow her lead the US might not be one of the leading covid speaders in the world .
Come on, no more of this bashing of us or any country that has to deal with this universal plague! The US does have the 3rd largest population in the world.

Earlier today (July 3) I was doubting it. I tried the event website www.gnf100show.com several times and it would not work. But, I tried it again just now, at 11:57 and it worked. I'll just keep checking, especially the night before we leave to drive up there!

Just wait to see how bad it gets after this weekend with all you non self isolating infectious boogers...lol
John, don't you realize that 1200 "respected" medical professionals from John Hopkins and elsewhere signed an open letter several weeks ago encouraging people to get out and protest and riot in support of Black Lives Matter. These were the same "professionals" that were telling us (and are telling us again now that the riots have subsided) that we must social distance and wear masks. I'm through listening to the "professionals" with their political agenda. As mentioned many times, they have been spectacularly wrong. And John, there are mountains of evidence to support this assertion.
This horse is dead, and I'm going to take Mark's excellent advice and dismount.

Kevin back to your original post, I hate to say it but I believe this years Grand Nationals isn’t going to be near as well attended as years past.
Reasons:
1. Timing
A. date is the same as North South Run.
B. Too close to Super Nationals.
2. Vendors
A. Date conflict with North South Run.
B. Vendors don’t want to get rolled up in the Corona virus issues.
3. Attendees
A. Many are still not going out due to Corona virus fears. (like Us old folks )
B. Dates have changed so many times that they have just given up on it.
I’m not trying to discourage anyone. I actually want to pick up some stuff there, but facts are facts.

Everything you said is what I’ve been thinking along with the fact it’s mid August on pavement
I’ve been thinking about ways to be there and protect myself. I hate to do it but I was thinking no one would be allowed under my tent except the 4 of us vendors that come together.
God willing and the creeks don't rise we, my wife and I, will get there about 10:00 AM on Friday. We will sneak in and stay at the headquarters motel driving our '55 Studebaker truck. Sorry, but the '56 F100 Panel just won't be ready for the trip. I hope to at least haul some parts home in the Studebaker for the F100! Assuming we don't get run off!
That's great I hope as many of you that are willing will attend . Here in Canada we will have no large outdoor events till at least September which is pretty much the same as saying not till next spring . So we have no such opportunities .
