Coolant loss
Hello,
My 88 has been leaking coolant for some time now and I wanted to see where the leak was coming from. Today I pressure tested and there was no obvious leaks and the pressure gauge would only lose about 1lb psi every 20 minutes or so. Is this slow loss normal for these pressure gauges even on good radiators? Also, this leads me to believe that the seal on my radiator cap might be bad, is that the first thing to try and replace? Thanks.

just out of curiosity, we’re you able to fix it? Did it just need some bolt tightening or was it more involved?

new water pump, stud was rusted in, not coming out, no telling how long leak was not noticed, and no puddle on driveway, and if yours 302/351w LMR has the bolt kit, even though it says lightning, still same
