I remember growing up my dad would take the whole family on a drive to Carbon Canyon, or Brea canyon just to unwind. This was a long time ago though. I doubt those areas are the same now.
Even before the pandemic , I didn't get takeout food to bring home. If I am home, I can make whatever I want. If I pay a restaurant for a meal, I am paying to eat there.
Just me. I always thought that restaurant pricing reflected sitting in their building, being served, not having to prep, cook, or clean up. Take away should be priced at a discount to reflect for not sitting in their building, they don't serve, they don't clean up after me......And I didn't make a mess in their bathroom.
Some of you guys know what I mean about stinking up their toilet.
Hi guys....been a long while since Ive posted up here. Jan 2016 I left CA to take a job in WA. In 2018 I came back to another job in Sacramento. Now I have a better paying job, and for dad's day I got myself a 2020 Ranger STX. They are pretty peppy, but I wanted more, so I loaded a Livernois tune in it. Claimed at the flywheel of 350hp/410tq....it's a lot of fun now. Great way to break it in, considering the truck has a whole 1200 miles. Leveling kit and off road lites coming soon.
We have been out for 3 of the last 4 nights doing comet watch. Last night was the best so far because it's starting higher and further to the west, which works better for our location. If you do a 180 about 10PM, you will see Jupiter, Saturn, and (theoretically) Pluto. I say theoretically because Pluto is really small, and really far. It takes a really big scope to actually see it.
The highest temp we've had in the last week or so was 80 the day before yesterday. Yesterday we topped at 76, and today's high looks like it's going to be 74.
