Sometimes when backing up all I get is a Black screen , it's intermittent so hard to pin point what the problem is,
Are anyone of you guys seeing this ,
Also how do you switch from tailgate camera to Bed camera ?
thanks
Let me guess... you have a 2020 model? I think the better question to ask here.... "Is there anyone who has a 20 model that doesn't have camera issues?"
I just got a new 2020 F350 about 2 weeks ago. The back up camera only works maybe 1 in 8 times. Dropped it off to get the new tires/bed liner/lights done and the 2020 Ford Escape loaner they gave me also has issues with the back up camera. Told them about it and they'll look into it, we'll see if it gets fixed.

A functional camera is a $500 option but only available on Lariat and above models.
I know there is an /s there but just wanted to say it's now required by law to have a back up camera on 2018 and newer vehicles. So if there is a big issues with the cameras (which there seems to be) hopefully they get their act together and fix it.
My uncles 2020 is the same way. It seems that Ford may have gotten a bad batch of cameras in time for the 20 models. There is a huge back order for them right now.
Just got my truck back today after getting the tires/bed liner/led lights on it. Told them about the camera. Was told they "reflashed" it and it's fixed now. Got in it to leave, still messed up, although slightly different. Scheduled to come back next week for them to diagnose it and said they'd probably have to order parts at that point to fix it, so yet another visit after that.

I think the dealers are all being told to stall for time since no one seems to have new cameras yet.
This truly sucks to hear. Wondering why Ford is having such a problem with their camera's. I had a 2017 F350 Platinum that had to have ALL the cameras replaced (under warranty), and back then, Ford said the 2017's got a bad batch of camera's. I now have a 2020 450 Limited and while I haven't experienced the anomaly (yet), it sucks to hear this is still an issue for a very expensive truck (on any trim level). :-(
Yep, same on my 2020. Problem mainly with bed camera and is possibly related to moisture. Very intermittent and has on occasion effected all cameras. Black screen with lines like an old crt TV. Have also has a failure msg for the bed camera with no display at least once. Havent taken it to dealer yet.
