Thinking of ordering a F250 XLT without the Premium or Value packages. This would include the power equipment group package as it comes with XLT trim. It would NOT have the 8 way power driver seat.
Would this come with a full manual seat like the XL or a "less than 8 way power seat" like on my current 2007 F150 XLT?
Anyone with a full manual seat care to comment on its comfort? Trying to save $1600 here.

I have the manual seat, it did take some getting used to but now its fine. The seating in the current body trucks is a bit oddly shaped compared to the past.
Only way it is worth it is if you need the power seat. My wife couldn't get the manual seat where she wanted it to see properly. I personally prefer a manual seat as there's less to go wrong. I do not think the manual seat has a height adjuster like the power one does.

If you are not interested in the value or premium package, you might as well skip the XLT model, and buy STX instead. You get much better value for your money.
I special ordered my 2019 Base XLT because the Dealers do not spec trucks very well, IMO. I thought the Base XLT with the options I wanted and none that I don't, much better deal than the STX package by the time you add you options. I am the Driver 99% so no need to be adjusting seat. My Girlfriend is also 5'4", she has no problem driving it, when I let her. Have had Fog Lamps in other vehicles, never used them. Think it is rude these guys that think it is cool to be running down the road with all their lights on. One thing standard on the XLT that I didn't know about is Keyless Entry, never had it but love it now that I do have it, very convenient. I did swap out the plastic steering wheel for the Lariat Leather wheel and installed a PMF Dual Steering Stabilizer. Ford should go back to offering a Leather Package on the XLT.
Considering you can order Fog Lights and Reverse Sensing System separate, the Value Package really isn't worth the asking price.
Is this new for '20? Because you had to have the Value package to get fog lights for the '17-'19 models. Fog lights are the only reason I went XLT Value instead of the STX. I added OEM fogs to my last 3 trucks after the fact....I didn't want to do it again.

OP, make sure you take a good test drive in trucks with the 8 way power seat and the other kind. It maybe worth the $1600 bucks. I had a rental with the normal manual seat and it killed my back. The 8 way seat might be well worth it for comfort alone.
I do like the fog lights. I leave for work pre-sun up and use the F150's fog lights for misty mornings and spotting deer. $130 is a deal.
As for the power seats and pedals, I seem to be the "ideal driver" manufacturers had in mind when designing trucks, Everything suits me in the normal, mid-range positions,
If I give up the Value package and the fancy red paint (which I like) I can afford the 7.3 engine.
