transmission shifting question
hey guys, thanks a lot for the replies. Just now got to a computer to read them. Just to clarify, the problem exists independently of the cruise control, it is definitely the transmission. I would be interested to see if the Baumann shift kit makes any difference. I would consider getting one just to fix that, and I would definitely like to feel firmer shifts. Growing up driving farm trucks with FEs and C6s, the 4R70W sure does feel lazy. And a 390 would tear the 302 to shreds to boot, I wish Ford still made them. However, if they did, gas prices had better drop through the floor, lol.
