New member here. I’m from central Texas and have been driving Fords since the ‘90s. I started with a 92 single cab XL then went to a 96 supercab XLT. Thought I was in heaven! Then it was an 03 F150 CC 4WD. Loved it, but bought a travel trailer and found it didn’t tow it very well. I turned to the dark side and used an 03 Duramax for a number of years and loved it. Sold the trailer and the truck, but got the itch a few years later. This time it was an 04 Powerstroke 6.0 CC 2WD with 200k on it. I’ve had it for a couple of years and it runs great.
Fast forward and now my son has taken it over, so I went shopping and bought a 2020 CC FX4 XLT 7.3 gasser. I deleted the 6.0 and it was easy enough, but new diesels have a lot more emissions equipment, so the new gas engine seemed perfect for me. I’ve had it for a couple of days and so far so good! I hope to learn a lot here and help out if I can. Thanks!
