Where do these go?

I'm reassembling my truck, and there are two parts I need help in determining where they go? I believe the picture of the fuel line guard goes on the bellhousings, but what bolts?

It would help a lot if you would tell us what kind of truck you are working on.

The first pic looks like a heat shield for the fuel pump that is on the frame rail. Is your truck older than 1990?

The second one looks like the gap-filler that presses onto the core support ridge between it and the radiator.

#1 is a heat shield for the fuel lines as they come up to the intake manifold. It mounts to the upper bell housing bolts. It is meant to protect the lines from the cross over tube.

#2 is a is a gap filler as Jas88 said. Helps channel air over the radiator.

Exactly what ^ he said. First one mounts to the 2 top trans to motor mounting bolts. Should be a clip that goes into the smaller holes that hold the fuel lines in place.Just pulled this off my latest project for an engine rebuild.
