Arrow Condenser protection installed

I just replaced my entire A/C system, and I wanted to make my condenser better protected. The one I took off looked like a 3 year old kid went after it with a ball peen hammer. I do a TON of highway driving, and my condenser takes a beating from road debris and large bugs.

This was super simple. Here are the photos of what I did:

I cut several holes to accommodate the grill tabs at the bottom and the long support pin in the center.

It goes all the way down to the power steering cooler.

Trimmed the corners to fit around the frame horns...

...and this one, too.

Finished. My Ford emblem is an example of the rocks that I get hit with on the interstates. Gonna have to repaint it soon.

These two items, a nut driver and some diagonal cutters were all I needed.

Completion of the project took about 1 hour.

Good idea, and that hardware cloth looks pretty cool behind the grille bars.

Simple an elegant design! I like your approach and will likely look at doing the same. I've always been a little worried about how exposed those systems are at the front of the truck.
