Bulletproof Hitch

I am looking at getting one of these hitches and about what sort of drop is needed to pull an average dual axle equipment trailer on a F350 single wheel? I was thinking a 6" or 8" drop. Thanks!

I would buy a 6", I don't like having a super long hitch hanging behind my truck. If that doesn't bother you then get the 8".

Take a look at the weigh Safe hitch, for the 3” shank rated at 21,200 lbs, aluminum and stainless, so no rust after you use it, it gives you your tongue weight When you hook up. I am on my second, first was for the 2.5” shank on my 2012 F250, just. A nice piece of hardware that works really well.

Are the 2020 F350's a 3"x3" shank or 2.5"x2.5"?

Mine is 3” but I’m pretty sure the 350 also comes with a 2.5”.

Yeah I saw that but I don't have the truck yet, just trying to order one now so I have it when the truck comes in. Does anyone know how high the F350 tremor sits from ground level to the bottom of the receiver?

I believe the SRW long bed F-350's come with a 3" hitch, and the short beds come with a 2.5" hitch, I could be wrong though. I have a 3" on my 19 F-350 Long bed.

I looked a weigh safe and B&W, and I ended up buying the B&W Tow and Stow Tri-ball for the 3" hitch.

There have been some threads that show what hitch comes with what truck, you can just search for it.

My CCSB 350 is a 3" receiver.

I have a CCSB 2020 350 and it has a 3”. I would not order a shank until you have the truck in your possession. I too got the B&W Tow and Stow Tri-Ball 3” shank and love it. I can get my truck in my parents short garage with it on and this wouldn’t be possible with a traditional hitch. This wasn’t something I thought about before as my house as a 25’ deep garage.

6" works perfect for my SRW F350 and equipment trailer.

I’ve got a 2.5” on my long bed F350.

I would wait to get the truck until you can measure the hitch to be sure. As others have mentioned, I've seen F-350s with 2.5 and 3 inch hitches.

We carry B&W, Weight-Safe, Bulletproof, and more. Be glad to go over options and help get you setup.
