Hello FTE!

I'm currently planning to buy a new F250 to replace my '94 Chevy Suburban. It seems this is a bad time to buy with the assembly plant shut down for a while!

I live near Seattle and also have property in Oregon and New Mexico. I work in automotive software, and in the past I worked on the old gen Ford Sync. But please don't ask me any questions about it since that was a long time ago and I don't remember!!!

I'm considering a SuperCab or Crew Cab Long Bed. Probably with a 7.3 Gas engine.

Welcome to FTE.

I don't think this is a bad time to buy. In fact, I think this is a good time to buy. Many people have been out of work for months, thus reducing the normal sales. We are coming up on the end of the model year and the factories, when restarted, will probably be pushing 2021s and not bother with running anymore 2020s.

There are a couple forums for you. The Super Duty/Heavy Duty forum and the Performance, engine and troubleshooting forum.

Don't forget to check out your state chapter too.

Thanks pbsdaddy. It seems that there is no stock at the dealers that matches what I'm looking for. I may have to order a new truck and buy a cheap used truck to hold me over until it arrives!

I'll check out the other forums.
