Hello from Alaska!
I'm the proud owner of a 2000 F350 extended cab dually and a 1973 F250 single cab pickup. Both are four wheel drives, but I have to admit the 2000 is in just a little better shape than the '73!! The 2000 is pretty much bone stock with a 7.3 liter while the '73 has a 390 in it and has been fitted with a flat bed. Sooner or later I will probably put some upgrades on the 2000 so that it will be a little stronger and more than likely last longer. I don't plan on getting a replacement for years to come. The '73 is a different story. Right now its my plow/trash hauler, but I want to fix it up and make it shine. Its going to be a long road because it has quite a bit of rust and the flat bed is made up of old wood that should have been replaced long ago. I just bought the '73 about a year and a half ago, but I have been busy with other projects that had to come first. Luckily I have busted my rear and got everything done and now its time to work on her.
Right now I don't have any pictures or anything like that, but I plan on changing that in the near future. Maybe I will do a before and after of the '73 to show you all. Of course I will have some pictures of my 2000 up before long as well. Hey, did I mention I have a 1974 Bronco? I do and she is pretty much stock as well... I will show you all her too! I look forward to getting to know you guys and seeing your Fords! Thanks for reading and stay safe. Guy D
