I drained the tranny in my 85 B2 with 2.8L and overfilled it with
at fluid. Rather than try to figure out how much to drain I thought I would drain all in the pan and refill. Can anyone tell me how much to put in so I don't make this stupid mistake again?

start with 5 quarts if all you drained was the pan and the tourque converter is still full. this should be about right. drive it around the block to circulate everything and then check and fill as needed
