Running Lights
I have a 1979 F100 cab that has been installed on an F250 chassis from 1977. I verified everything worked on the 79 cab before I swapped it over. After chasing some electrical gremlins, I have one final problem - I have no front parking lights or turn signals. The truck has a flatbed, which i have wired LED brake, turn, and reverse lights into, and they all work on the rear end, but i have nothing on the front. The headlights work, as do the side markers on the sides at the front of the truck, but no turn or parking lights on the very front end. I have changed the bulbs, put dielectric grease, and tried sanding away some rust on the connectors, but i have nothing. When I engage the turn signal lever, the rear light illuminates, but does not flash. My next thought is a new turn signal switch, but I don't know if that will fix it. What about the canister relays (not sure what else to call them) behind the dash?
I appreciate any and all help you guys can provideprovide been lurking around, and have to day that this forum has helped a ton!
