G'day from Oz
Well, thought I'd better introduce myself to y'all.
Living downunder - Australia, and been looking at, or rather drooling at, getting myself an 'F' Truck. Cost here just about a 'kidney', or your next new born to afford, but that ain't gunna stop me. Great source of info to sift through, also, I've been thinking, just mind you...thinking of directly importing an 'eFFie" from US to OZ. That too can be problematic, but I guess research is the key.
Anyhoo, I won't bore you anymore, other than I live in Western Australia, and work as a heavy diesel fitter up in the Pilbara in the mines on a 2 weeks on - 1 week off roster.

,Research being the key, seeing that pre '89 imports, although have a laundry list of conditions, is the what I'm searching for. Been onto the US craigslist which comes up with plenty to choose from.
I'll be in the market for a third party vehicle inspector, so, any recommendations will be greatly appreciated. I think I'll leave the actual importation brokerage to the professionals.
