Please help with throttle cable part number.
1994 F350, 5.8L, C6, 4x4, VIN: 1FTHF36H3RNA82001
I noticed the end of the throttle cable had snapped off. I tried looking the part up online and found two cables: F1TZ-9A758-E, F4TZ-9A758-L. Ford Parts Giant says F4TZ-9A758-L is the correct cable and F1TZ-9A758-E does not fit. Village Ford Parts says F1TZ-9A758-E is the correct cable and F4TZ-9A758-L does not fit. Autopartsnation indicates both will fit.
Does anyone know what cable is correct for this truck?
Owning this truck has been an interesting experience, I understand now why Ford seems to stamp a part number on everything.

I put the part numbers in the Ford Parts Giant search and the “E” says it is for 7.3L trucks. The “L” is for trucks with a 5.8L engine.
FYI: The numbers on a Ford part and engineering numbers not part numbers.

I ordered the L cable, if it doesn't work, I'll update this thread in case it comes up in a search.
