Before I start I will say that I have read many post but cannot find a solution.
I have king ranch seats out of a 2005 f150. I am trying to get the driver seat to power up but I am unable to. I have the passenger seat working fine.
The driver seat has power, memory, heat. I am really only concerned with making the power work but understand I have to power the memory module as well. I have tried this. I did power + to the large green wire and ground to the large black but no luck.
I have found the following diagram. The attached pictures are from the bottom of my seat.
here’s the thing. When I power the og/lg wire all of the wires going to the 6 way switch become hot (last two photos). So that confuses me. Shouldn’t only one wire be hot and the rest get excited and move the motors?
The 03 only shows the heat section and the power section. I don't have a later diagram to see. Wasn't the memory function also tied in with the adjustable pedals? If it is, that sounds more complicated to get working. I don't know if the main brain was in the seat, under the dash, or somewhere else in a body module.
Curious if you got any further with this? I bought a 2005 truck recently that was originally a lariat truck, and the PO installed King ranch but didnt wire them in.
For anyone else searching for this in the future. To get ONLY the power seat functions working on the DRIVER seat
Apply B+ power to both the DG & OG/LG wires
Negative to both the BK & BK/LB wires
DG & OG/LG are power for the seat adjust switches (DG) & motors (OG/LG)
BK & BK/LB provide ground for the seat adjust switches (BK) & to the motors (BK/LB).

This info was a life saver. I have tried every suggestion on YouTube including replacing the seat with another used powered seat and nothing worked. Splicing the wire to the orange green wire worked. I didn’t even have to splice the negative wires. Thanks for posting this update.
