i have asick 89f150 302 dead cylinder and i just bought a 85 e150 with 351 HO c6 in oder to put this engine in i have to convert to the old duaraspark iginition. which wires do i tie into in order to make this work as every thing related to the compulter is gone. the reason i what more power and i think a carb is the way to go any tips would be great ,,,,,,,,

thats great but do you know which wires on the truck do i use to connect the duarspark too....do i go right to the steering colum or is there a wire in the harness i can use....... thanks
Well what I came up with was to ways of looking at it
first
green wire........negative side of coil
white wire........ red/light blue wire to your ignition switch
red wire............grey/yellow wire at your ignition switch
second way
green wire............negative coil
white wire.............starter side of solenoid
red wire.................to a 12v switched power source (comes on with key)
Also recommended grounding the module itself as there are no grounds for this from the module, may wanna put a fuse one of the wires just to be safe. Hope this helps
I have the same thing going on at my house. I have a 1990 Ford F150 Custom with a working 300 EFI and I have a donor 1984 F150 XLT with a 351W 4V H.O. with a C6. I could use any info that you come across. Thanks.
