DEF pump code thrown!

DEF pump code thrown!
I bought a kit to replace the DEF pump on my 12 F250. I was wondering if anyone has tried to remove the truck bed to get to the pump, instead of going underneath the truck? Is there enough room to get to the pump that way? I would appreciate any advice and or tips! Thanks in advance!

If you have the means to remove your bed, and the hardware isn't rusted in place, it would make the pump removal very easy once the bed is off. It will be fully exposed alongside the frame rail.
However, I'm not sure that bed removal will be easier than just dropping the tank.
