So I am putting the finishing touches on my Baja truck, a 79,000 original mile 1991 F250 destined for my house in Baja California Sur. The truck has a Leer Legend topper on it and my initial thought is an always open pass through but for a little added security now think leaving the window in for (a little) added security.
The Leer window is larger than the truck window which limits my choice to a compression boot that attaches to the fiberglass shell and rests against the cab, or does it? What have you done to bridge the gap. As noted, taking both windows out is my first choice because there will be a rear mounted bench seat for occasional passengers in the bed.
