I looked at a 2020 Limited yesterday while my truck was in for state inspection. I didn't drive it but it's black on black with the 2.3L. Just enough chrome to set the black off nicely.
I found the interior fit and finish to be very good however, I'm concerned about the matte black plastic trim pieces around the wheel wells and bumpers. It's pretty thin and doesn't seem to be fitting tightly against the body panels. Not sure if this deliberate but it reeks of poor quality to me. And then of course, the matte black pieces will get sun bleached as they always do and in 4-5 years, the car will look old and worn.
The MSRP was $51,xxx and the dealer isn't motivated as he states that he's running out of vehicles to sell.
I would have bought it for my wife right then and there if the dealer were more motivated.

Hawaiʻi is in trouble with vehicles(lack of that is). We have a leased Explorer that has a lease that will expire at the end of this year. The 2021 Explorer STs that I am looking at are no longer available on dealerʻs lots.
I am not quite sure what we are going to do to replace our Explorer. Order one from the mainland?
I knew this chip shortage would be a pain, but this is crazy.
