front Fender Support Rods Options

I'm wanting to put a flat stainless firewall in a 56. Are the firewall to front fender braces/braces a must? Will it rattle, shake, fall off?

Funny you asked this.i have a 54,wasn't going to use any of these alignment rods.i got the front end together and did my best to get it lined up but in my case I definitely need them to push the fender out little and pull the corner of hood down.your front end wont fall off with out them there just there to align front sheet metal.

I order these parts today.

It's not just Midfifty, everyone is having shipping delays. It is amazing how many people are willing to stand and wait outside a hardware store with limited people in the store.
