Adjustment/Alignment Cams...

A few weeks ago I brought my '99 Expy to my stealership (Time, Money & Years off my life stolen) to have an alignment done seeing as how the truck had just under 50k when purchased and now has 64k, I figured it was due. A few hours after drop-off I got a phone call from my service manager saying that I needed to pay $186 to get alignment/adjustment cams installed so that the wheels could be aligned. After I took delivery of the vehicle, I noticed that the truck was considerably more wobbly and drifted more from side to side at highway speeds than it ever did before. I currently have an appt. for next Tuesday to have the wheels re-aligned. My question is, has anybody else heard of or had alignment cams installed? I'm wondering if I was fed a $186 load of B.S.
