Hey everyone. I have never owned a Ford Truck but I am looking at buying a 2008 for Excursion because my wife and I are about to have our third child and with our growing family we need a bigger vehicle. It doesn’t have a third row and only seats 5 my question is if there is a way I could install a 3rd row bench into the truck? If there was mounting underneath the carpet or anything? And if anyone could give me guidance with this.
If you do have the seat brackets already in place, they will be noticeable (and sunk into the floor) as they are pretty heavy duty in order to hold the seat and occupants
if there are no existing brackets, I don’t know how you would add them.
best bet would be to look for one that already has the brackets and then just buy a seat
