I had the same issue with my wheels. The back center piece would not work because of the hub.. The center piece is held on by three allen bolts that you can see in the picture. What I did was bought some hollow pipe from HD and some longer black allen bolts. I cut the pipe to the correct length and painted the pipe black and the very small space between the center piece and the hub was painted black. I don't think you can tell even by this picture it has been modified to fit.
It's in a HD section where they sell this in different sizes and also flat bars in different thicknesses and lengths. The tag says Round Pipe on it. Your screw or whatever you get that secures the center cap will need to fit through the hole in the tube and the tube should be cut just long enough to make the center piece clear the hub. Sandy
