I was saying that my arms from an ‘86 measure at 3” without the sleeve which is same as what he has in the bottom picture while his replacement arm is only 2-3/8”. Is that going to be long enough to fit all the bushing parts and the nut? I don’t know.

Ford used two different sized bushings.
Your new arms do not take the wedding band, otherwise it will never all fit together.

I have a similar problem with my early Rancho long arms.
They need either the band, which is long gone, or the large version of the bushings.I've had to stack large washers to make up for the missing bands.
The only radius arm bushings that are large enough to go without the wedding band in place on your old arm style, that I have found, are made by Superlift.

Make sure you put lots of the grease on the new bushings or you will get squeaks..

Yep..I ordered this truck in October of '86 and it was delivered in late January of '87. So, it was sold to me as a `1987.

Thanks for the schematic...by looking at it, MOOG sent me the "original" looking rubber insulator because it looks exactly like the one already in-line in the drawing. I'll have to verify this and report back...

‘86 and ‘87 are two different body style trucks.
