Valve spring question

Valve spring question
So I had been wondering if my truck had factory valve springs so I pulled off the valve cover a little bit ago to check. I can tell that the springs have an inner spring (damper spring?) just like the comp 910s. My question is did the factory springs have this as well or does that confirm that they are upgraded valve springs?

Could the paint indicate something?
