apple car play
does anyone know if the 2019 ranger xlt with 302A and technology package comes with apple car play?? im taking delivery of this vehicle on wednesday and i need to upgrade my phone. should i get an apple phone or an android one like samsung. or does it even matter. im using a motorola flip phone for the last 8 years so now i guess i have to step into the 20th century. i just want to make sure im getting the right one. my son says im a computer idiot and he is probably not far from the truth on that so i need some thing that i just might figure out how to use one day. help please

Sync3 is included in the 302A package:
Sync3 includes Apple and Android.
An AM/FM stereo with 6 speakers, SYNC® 3, and SiriusXM® Satellite Radio is included in XLT with the 301A and 302A Equipment Groups; standard in LARIAT.

thanks for the info. the phone place set me up with an iphone 7. yes its an old phone but they said it has the newest version for it. i guess once i learn how to use it, i will be ready for a upgrade.
this is definatly different than my flip phone. i have the ford pass app down loaded now so wednesday should be fun.
