I have a 67 F100 long bed, 2WD, 352 V8 survivor that I want to replace the shocks on. This will be a summertime, low mileage weekend driver, on secondary paved roads and highways. I am looking at Gabriel Ultra and Monroe Gas-Magnum at this point. Any experience, opinions, advice or recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.
I also am looking to replace my shocks front & rear on my 1971 F250 long bed with a 300 4.9L & C4. I drive less than Centennial F100, mostly around town, no loads. Price is an issue. Monroe Gas Magnums @ $50 each is a bit pricey at this time. Other choses please.

Years ago when Monkey Wards was still a thing. They sold car parts my Dad had a 67 F-100 325, 2 wd. That he bought brand new. Any way it needed new shocks so he orders them from Wards. They call and say they are here. This was Way before e-mail or texting. So we go to the store and for some reason my Dad opens the box before we leave the order desk and what we find was a pair of Used shocks in the box that someone had taped the box shut on both ends to make it look like it was factory sealed. The look on the clerks face when he saw the used shocks which were really dirty and oily Priceless.
Found some Gabriel ProGard at Rock Auto (Wholesaler Closeout with 30 day warranty) for $15 each, $60 + 12.99 FedEx ground shipping. As little as I drive the truck I think I will give them a try.
I ordered the same from Rock Auto. $20.00 Canadian plus $40.00 FedEx to ship to Toronto, Ontario. Like old28 I drive very few miles, no load and only in summer, so I think these will be fine.
