2 1/2” hitch

I just got a 2018 f350 6.7L. My current set up was for a 2” hitch. The new truck is the larger style. I bought the sleeve to adjust down to the 2” but it is loose as can be and moves more than I would like.

Anyone experience this? How did you fix the issue?

Get yourself a new 2.5" hitch and avoid the bent hitch pin thats all too common. The bulletproof hitch also has a WD adapter, thats the one I bought.

I ditched my old 2" WDH and moved up to a 3" WDH so I didn't have to deal with sloppy adapters. As said above, the adapter sleeves seem to cause some issues. Mine was the elongation of the hitch pin hole on the receiver hitch. Once I switched to the 3" WDH it was fine.

What 3” WDH did you end up getting? I was hoping to just be able to buy the insert and swap out the main part of my WDH but the company does not offer the right shank for it.
