390 Head Choice

390 FE rebuild in 76 daily driver this is my 1st restoration I drive decent "most" of the time but you may catch me every couple months with foot punched to the floor in some mud or 1/2 a block to remind me why I shouldn't.

Nothing crazy going to stay with stock pistons and crank but we will balance the crank, small RV cam, headers and 2 1/2 exhaust. My question is I am going Edlebrock heads and don't know which one to get. I may go back in later and change crank and cam so I don't want to be faced with buying another set of heads. 1 thing I will be adding is a holy sniper EFI and distributor.. what do you think about going with Aluminum?

Thank guys, I have read so much I confused myself and I really cant afford I want so I am budgeting this one and will go all out once I am happy with Lucy.

Thank You very much for touching base. Maybe I didnt title it right and I know there are few choices from Edelbrock so maybe it's a no brainer for most.

Read this regarding pistons. If you want performance, don't leave the pistons .100+ down the hole:

If there's a choice in chamber volume, always go for the smaller size unless you're going to stroke it.
