door panel removal 1998 explorer

I am having trouble with my door lock - drivers side. Does anyone know how to remove the door panel?

Remove a couple of screws near the handle, remove plastic piece around door handle, pry on the bottom corner of panel to release plastic push-in retainers working your way all around the panel and the pull up on the panel to remove from the door lock and slot on top. Takes about 3 minutes, tops. As they say, replacement is reverse of removal.

Thanks! I can't get the door unlocked to open it though. Is this going to be a problem getting the panel off?

Not being able to open the door is going to be a problem. You may want to call a towing service and see if they can use a slim jim to unlock the door.
