Another thing(Tachometers)
I've been lookin around for a place that sells tachometers that will work for a 99 manual ford ranger... I can't find like anything. I see no reason why they would neglect to put a tach in a manual ford ranger, but for the fact that I think my trans. isnt the stock trans. Think it is an automatic made manual, heh. In any case.. if anyone knows of a place that has dash setups w/gauges that includes a tachometer, that would work for a 99 ford ranger, lemme know. Cuz i'm havin a real hard time finding anything =/

I think I remember reading a few posts where people picked up another Ranger instrument cluster from the junkyard (one with a tachometer), and they just plugged it in and it worked fine. Maybe someone else can confirm this...?

Plug and play is what I've heard as well. One guy said to try and get the same year and engine though. I'm going to try this in th enext couple weeks so I'll let you know. Probably won't be able to find the same year and engine so that will test that theory.
