Looking for another 2-Barrel Carb for my '69 F-350 with a 360 and need to verify some info on it. I believe it is a 2100, would that be correct?
Thanks
The best deal for a straight replacement is a clone carburetor. They have been very successful and I don't even bother with trying to rebuild the old ones anymore.
OK, thanks. Although I don't like the idea that it is from China.
Another question I would have. Are all 2100's the same? Or are there variations between the models and/or between the years (original equipment speaking).
I would also like to find one with a Manual Choke if possible.
Do elaborate on what you have "heard". I have some successful hands on time with lots of these on the flow bench, dyno and in use on both on road and circle track cars. So please explain what you have heard.

No. Yeah they made a bazillion of them, and used different carb components for different applications. The main difference starts with the Venturi size, it's stamped on the side of the carb. 1.02" 1.08" 1.12" 1.21" etc. Then there were different booster clusters installed. Then slight differences in jetting, maybe power valves. A shop manual is helpful because it lists the exact carb specs.
Price on those clone carbs is dirt cheap. But what jets are in them.
I'd rebuild the original carb. CORRECTLY. Soaking all (apart) bare metal parts in carb soak. Internal passages would be cleared out this way. Carb rebuild kits come with a blown apart picture. And step by step instructions.
As of 10/2018 when I retired as a Ford Parts Man, the Ford carb kit was still available. Part number D4AZ9A586A.
