351 5.8 install
Hi, I'm installing my 5.8 into 1995 f150. Do I have to key the torque converter studs into the flex plate before I can mate the engine into the transmission? Do I put the motor mount studs into the cradle first and the get them together. or bolt them together and then let the assembly down? Thanks

Yes you have to align the studs on the torque converter before bolting the bellhousing to the engine.
It's far easier to bolt the motor mounts to the block and then lower the studs into the slots on the frame.
