I have a spare headlight bracket (bucket) from my recent headlight upgrade to E99Z-13119-A this is an LH (driver's) side bracket. Odd that to all outward appearances this looks the same;
....but this is the only part number on the dingus, what gives?
I'd like to get to the bottom of this soon as I'm posting it for sale here and on EBay. Thanks and a lift of the lynch lid for any help!
Almost always actual part numbers---those we'd use to order them--are NOT stamped into or onto any Ford part. If there's a blue & white sticker that includes a Ford-like part number its possible to use that one.
If you don't know the specific part number list it by application and fitment, the same info you provided when obtaining the part.
Thanks JWA, this was taken from the local wrecking yard last year and while I know it was an E 150 I don't remember the year. The yard is closed on account of Covid so I can't narrow it down. No sticker on this dingus either as you can see. However on the one used and one new headlight Bracket on Strayhound now, the stamped nos. do correspond. Go figure, sometimes Ford feels like a nut, sometimes they don't.
Yes the stamped numbers might very well correspond but they're still not part numbers. Chances are they were both manufactured by the same outfit and that's an internal number they use.
Again go by fitment even if you don't know the exact year. I'm completely guessing here but if the donor vehicle was a '92 or later then the exact year might not be as important as thought. A sealed beam bucket will be pretty much the same from '92 to EOL in 2013.
Yep, I gave a range both here (Marketplace) and on EBay. There's nothing wrong with that headlight bucket, I just have no need for two of these. btw what a difference compared to those Composite Headlamps.
