It seems the more i read about what you all do to you trucks the more i want to do to mine! The better half has started calling my truck the other woman!
I can't blame her, i spend every weekend working on it one way or another, buy it gifts to make it happy, spend alot more time with my truck then i do with her!
That's funny right there. My wife is just the opposite. Every time I go to do some wrenching or just maintenance on my trucks she is always asking if she can hold my tools for me! Sometimes she even says we need to buy this or that for the truck. She says she feels safer in the truck than she does in the Blazer and she likes sitting up high so she can see since she is only 5' 2" tall and I'm 6' 4". Funny, how wives can be!
My wife drove our (now sold) 7.3 Excursion for nearly 8 years, and loves the driving position, and likes how my truck has somewhat aggressive throttle. HOWEVER, she HATES the noise and does not really want to ride in it unless her RX450h won't handle the task (hauling dirt, mulch, lumber, etc.). NOW, though, she HATES my truck even MORE than ever because of the oil stain left in the driveway last week when I blew a HPOP fitting o-ring. I may just have to epoxy coat the driveway to, well, to survive this latest oil leak!
Hell I was racing my wife in her jeep when I blew a hpo line. She said it was the coolest thing and it looked like a freight train flying down the road... I lost

Tonight I'm going to tell my wife about the whole "other woman" thing.... I think I will start referring to the vehicles in the driveway as "The Sister Wives" instead of "The Herd".
So, when I met Mike K in NJ, his truck was stock, except for dp tooner and gauges. We met because his truck needed a ride to BTS and I helped get it there. On the way, he learned about my veggie fuel system because we drove 2500mi with his truck on a trailer and the diesel gauge never moved.
Over the next few years, Mike’s truck got better tunes, a VO conversion and a gradual power upgrades up to 238/80’s, head studs, etc with the engine OUT.
I know his wife blames me!!! I was staying at their house during the engine pull episode and she made my coffee. I waited and asked Mike if it was safe to drink it because I know she wasn’t happy about the project. He responded ‘Yeah, you’re safe. My truck is in 1000 pieces. She doesn’t want anything to happen to you now!’ Lol.

That's funny. First get it in a 1000 pieces, then say it needs all this to run again. I bet he liked how it ended!

Broke 500hp on the rollers at RRE and tows his camper with no problems. Solid build. There were several of us there for that project. Literally, the best of times.
I may have painted his valve covers against his will... He later agreed I was right though!!!
