New member here

I have a 2018 super crew 4x4 F150 I recently put 20” wheels on my truck with 33’s am I hurting my towing capabilities? Thanks in advance I also have 3.31 gears

Yes, if you go taller it makes towing (including braking) harder for your truck to do.

Ok I had a brake controller put in my truck I’m asking cuz we are purchasing a travel trailer and my truck max load is supposed to be 11,600 which I dnt believe with the gear ratio that is possible

What is the GVWR of the travel trailer?

You'll run out of payload long before hitting 11,600 in almost all cases.

Definitely the dry weight is 5820

You'll need a weight distribution hitch for sure. Also best to go off trailer GVWR. Once you're loaded up could be another 1k in there.

​​​​​I'm assuming you have the 5.0 or 3.5 Ecoboost with 3.31s. You'll likely be ok on weight - best to check your configuration on the 2018 towing guide

Yes sir I’m having the weight distribution hitch included with the trailer definitely I have the 5.0
