Anyone have information as to where I can buy the two center bed cross bars or a comparable version from a newer model. My bed is nice but Inhave 2 bad crossmember and wnnt to swap them why I have my bed off.
Styleside or Flareside? On the Styleside Ford only sold the front crossmember and rear sill separately. The only way you could get new ones from Ford was to buy the bed floor. I don't know of anyone that reproduces the middle crossembers.
On the Flareside they are reproduced and suppliers like LMC and Dennis Carpenter can supply them.
As for something else from the aftermarket, maybe you could adapt something like this: https://www.carparts.com/crossmember-repair-kit/ford
Sorry my mistake. The truck is a 78 f150 styleside bed (not stepside) 8 foot box, regular cab ,single rear gas tank ,explorer if that makes any difference. My 2 inner bars are missing I beleive the hight of 1 is 1 7/8 high and the other is close to 2 1/4 high. Approx 46 inches in length.
