I have a 1989 Eddie Bauer Ford Bronco 2D V8 Automatic Transmission. Today when I was driving it just started shaking a lot to the point that it stalled out. I got it started and looked at it at home. When I pressed on the acceleration in park the engine the entire engine started to shake a lot unnormally.
HELP!!! ahhhh any idea. ive been told something about a front end aliment or balancing but it seems like it could be more. Its havening a hard time moving forward .. or back wards for that matter
If it's doing it in park, you can rule out an alignment problem.
It would help if we knew what motor and transmission you're talking about. Have you had any problems in the past with it? Did it suddenly start happening? Does it happen all the time?
I will check today what motor and tran I have. This just suddenly happened and it does not happen all the time. I have been telling my friends that my truck has pms. Some times it works some times not. I’m just hoping I’m not destroying the thing.
have you done any work to your motor recently? I would check your plugwires make sure they are in good shape and in the correct order. you balancer on the crank might be shot or your tranny is low of fluid
For a while after I bought by bronco I had a problem of the spark plug wires working themselfs off(Looked like they were still on, but they weren't connected). I pulled off the wires and bent the little pieces of metal in them so they clamped onto the plug better.
