I have a question, the top of my 7.3 is all wet. I am planning to go in and re-oring, new valve cover gaskets, pedestal o-rings, etc. That being said, what is recommended for the fuel injectors, 315K miles- leave alone, re-oring? Any suggestions for other maintenance on the upper end?
Bellowed up pipes since you're that deep if not already done. Riff raff penum inserts, new upgraded boots and clamps. Turbo rebuild kit. 50c mod. Glow plugs. Ebpv delete pedestal or gut and plug the OEM one if you want to eliminate that potential leak.
There's lots of parts you can just throw at it to cover all your bases for your leak and we can help spend your money but if you want to save the blow to your wallet, clean the valley real good and monitor where the leak is coming from. Inspect passenger side fuel line. The clamp can rub a hole in the metal line (make sure that's not your leak mixing with old oil on the valley. If truly fuel, also look at fuel bowl potential leaks and reseal kit.)
Very nice, did you do anything to the valve covers or injectors?
yeah look up in the first set of pics. I did glow plugs, new UVCH, $.50 cent mod, Riff Raff Valve covers. CNC Fab 4 way fuel and HPOP Lines. Tons of other stuff as well. My injectors seem to be fine and I jad to draw the line on cost effective mods at the time. Some day if they act up Ill replace them
