I have a 99 F350 7.3L and I noticed that when I accelerate, I hear a hissing (airy) sound that occurs to a certain point then it stops. Also, I noticed that the same sound comes back when I let the truck decelerate as when I'm approaching a red light. It doesn't seem that the truck loses power when this noise occurs. Any ideas on what this could be? I'm new to learning about trucks and cars. Any advice would be great!
