Heater core

Anyone know what years I can swap a heater core into my 1965 F250 from? Will a 1967 fit? Thanks

I'd buy a new core from aftermarket. I think Carpenter has them? Maybe FTE as well. Repairing a leaky core this old is usually a waste and Junk Yard cores are as old as the one you have. Sorry I can't answer the question about the swap, but I don't think so.

Does your 250 have the "fresh air heater"? If it does, then it is the same as mine (F-100, 65). I was needing the air duct to it -- ordered the duct from them 67-72 in the hope that it would be correct. It wasn't. I can't of course be sure that the cores are different, but I'd suspect it. Try the parts places, get a new one.

Only have 1 Ford Truck parts catalog that goes up to 72. Never use the company as a sourse, web site shows they also sell parts for those 'bow tie' type vehicles. According to their catalog, LCM Truck, the 65 thru 72 are the same, unless the vehicle has A/C. Picture in catalog looks like the heater core in my 65. It is a generic reproduction, with the outlets in the proper location. Unfortunately, their web site does not show a picture.
Sorry could not be more definative.

good luck,
dave
